In order to further improve the service levels for customers that require reliable and timely reefer supply chain services, Damco has hired several additional experts within reefer logistics in both North and South America.

Damco has a strong presence in South, Central and North America with strong reefer logistics capabilities. Apart from a full scope supply chain management service encompassing ocean carriage agreements with a number of leading carriers and providing full visibility throughout the transportation, customers with all air, or Sea – Air shipments from Latin America to North America can ship via the Damco Sea – Air hub in Panama. By combining our expertise through out the supply chain we are able to link growers and producers with retailers and provide a true one-stop-shop.
To celebrate and promote the new brand, Damco recently introduced the new brand to the reefer community at the 2009 PMA exhibition in Anaheim, CA.
Ole Schack Petersen elaborates. The event was an excellent opportunity for Damco to introduce our new brand to the industry, explaining face-to-face to a large number of customers what Damco is about and how Damcos ambitions go hand in hand with the needs of our customers.
It is essential for us to never stop learning about our customers. Events like PMA serve as unique opportunities to meet with customers and learn more about their latest challenges and discuss how Damco can assist to add value in a way that our customers benefit and in turn can improve their competitiveness and become better at serving their markets and customers.
