E. Armata, one of the original merchants on The Hunts Point Market has renovated their units, warehouses, repacking facilities and sales areas.
The renovations feature a cold chain compliant design, warehouse location markers and an efficient racking system so customers are serviced quickly and accurately.
“Our multiple warehouses feature state-of-the-art refrigeration and real time inventory control. We operate a Tomato Repacking Facility, which allows customers to pick the color and size of the specific tomato they desire. Looking toward the future, we will continue our standard of excellence and are pleased and eager to present our expanded facilities. Our grower/shippers can be certain that their produce is delivered fresh and in a timely manner from start to finish.” says Chris Armata president. “Our new facilities and increased technology ensure better traceability, truck routing, and prompt delivery.”
Equipment has been upgraded across the entire operation, including state-of-the-art software to streamline end-to-end inventory management, sales, shipping and tracking.
