Envy, JAZZ, & Pacific Rose Inspire Consumers Throughout Path-To-Purchase

The harvest of Washington-grown Envy™, JAZZ™, and Pacific Rose™, is in full-swing, and brand owner, T&G Global, will roll out equally fresh campaigns throughout the season and 2018 to drive increased awareness, trial, and sales, of the popular, premium apples. With a new round of consumer and retail promotional activities slated to launch November 1, 2017, the three top eight-ranked apples are primed to quickly expand their already large and loyal fan base.

Envy™, voted America’s favorite apple last spring, will be treating Texans in Austin, San Antonio, and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex November 1-30, as the successful, three-stop roadshow concludes in the Lone Star State. Along with enjoying samples of the sweet and slow-to-brown apple, shoppers at several retail stops will have the opportunity meet Envy™ grower and T&G North America program manager, Rick Derrey. “I always love to meet apple enthusiasts and even less-regular apple consumers and win them over with a glimpse into Envy’s farm-to-table journey,” says Rick. “I know that, for me, a greater understanding of where your food comes from makes the eating experience even more enjoyable.”

Coinciding with the first day of the Texas roadshow is the launch of the Show Us Your Stocking Instagram Contest, through which consumers can share their creative photos of Envy-stuffed stockings through December 31, for a chance to win one of five enviable items, including a cash grand prize and a Blendtec blender. In addition, Envy™ will partner with complementary food and lifestyle brands for a week-long promotion in late November which will highlight recipes and tips for holiday meal planning and entertaining. The campaign will be supported by eight popular social influencers including Master Chef Season One winner, Whitney Miller, and bloggers from Big Bear’s Wife and My Suburban Kitchen.

Not to be outdone, the always refreshing JAZZ™ will also excite consumers with the Tangy, Juicy, Crunchy, Sweet Holiday Sweepstakes. The sweepstakes, which also launches November 1, will award five cash prizes, including a $2,500 grand prize, and new-crop JAZZ™ apples to winners just in time for the holidays. JAZZ™, along with another fan favorite, Pacific Rose™, will also be highlighted at retail sampling events throughout the domestic season
