Frieda’s Launches YouTube Video About Buddha’s Hand Citron

LOS ALAMITOS, CALIF. – Frieda’s has posted its latest Specialty Produce 101 video on YouTube about the Buddha’s Hand Citron, a peculiar citrus oddity that is now in season and increasingly popping up on blogs and on the social web. The video can be viewed at www.youtube.com/FriedasProduce

With this latest video, Frieda’s seeks to demystify this unusual citrus that continually confounds shoppers and produce managers alike. The video provides a well-rounded and entertaining snapshot about the fruit, its history and its various uses, all in less then 2 minutes.

To date, Frieda’s YouTube Channel features seven videos as part of its Specialty Produce 101 series: Jicama, Bitter Melon, Blood Oranges, Kiwano Melon, Cactus Pears, Cherimoya and Buddha’s Hand.
