Homegrown Organic Farms Announces New Senior Account Manager

Porterville, CA – Homegrown Organic Farms, one of the premier organic fresh produce marketers in the United States, is excited to announce Fred Berry as a new member of the Homegrown team. Berry was recently hired and is now operating as a Senior Account Manager for the Homegrown sales team. Scott Mabs, Homegrown Organic Farms’ CEO, is thrilled to have Fred on board and believes his experience in the produce industry will be a great addition to the Homegrown team.
Berry comes from a diverse background in the agriculture industry. He received his B.S. degree in Agriculture Economics & Business Management from University of California, Davis and was a member of the California Agricultural Leadership Program – Class XX. Most recently Berry worked with Mulholland Citrus as their Director of Marketing. He also maintains a distinct history with industry boards and affiliations such as California Citrus Mutual and California Fresh Fruit Association (formerly California Grape & Tree Fruit League).
Berry said, “I’m excited to be joining the team at Homegrown. Good things are happening in the organic industry and I’m thrilled I get to be a part of it all.”
Mr. Berry plans to use his distinct industry experience to enhance the overall mission of Homegrown Organic Farms. His initial responsibility will involve learning Homegrown’s systems of operations and eventually will be focused specifically on sales.
