MamaMia Produce LLC, from East Rutherford, NJ is proud to announce that Mr. Lawrence Morgenstein has joined the company as Controller effective March, 29th 2010. Mr. Morgenstein comes to MamaMia having previously worked for the New York accounting firm of Hirsch Oelbaum Bram Hanover and Lisker. Lawrence holds an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University and a BS in Economics from Rider University. Among the many accounts he has handled are The New York Center for Living and The Legal Aid Society. Lawrence also spend time at the Nestle’ Corporation, handling the accounting duties for its Direct Store Delivery division. Mr. Morgenstein is a father of two and resides in Fair Lawn, NJ. He had this to say about coming to work for MamaMia. “The first day I got here there was a table full of seeds just in from Europe, a warehouse full of produce that they had grown, the packing room was buzzing and every bay had a truck attached to it. I guess that’s when it hit me, growers, shippers, packers and distributors right here in New Jersey, go figure.” As for MamaMia, CFO Shimon Efergan, had this to say. “ We interviewed about 10 people and Larry was absolutely the best candidate for the job. We are lucky to have him. This further shows how committed we are as a company to continue growing”.
