Mann Hires Two Employees To Support Sales & Marketing

SALINAS, Calif. – Mann Packing hired two employees to support its sales and marketing departments.

Gabriel Gonzalez filled a newly created position as data systems specialist for sales operations, reporting to Craig Grantham, director of sales operations.  

In this new role, Gabriel will support Mann’s business through product information management, data governance, category management, and data analytics.  He will also be responsible for managing the company’s product registration process.    

Gabriel has a broad base of experience in sales planning, data analytics, systems management and category management.  His previous experience was with Safeway where he managed many categories across the retailer’s entire business.  He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration from Cal State East Bay.

In the marketing department, the company added Kane Palacios as a marketing assistant reporting to Kim St George.

Palacios is a Salinas native and recent graduate of Yale University.  He will support the marketing team and will concentrate his efforts on the company’s social media channels, including Facebook and Twitter.  He will also assist in packaging projects, website content management, marketing collateral materials and general support to sales and marketing.

Palacios interned for the Mann marketing department the summer  of 2013.
