Mann Packing Creates New Director Of Trade Marketing Role

SALINAS, Calif. – Oct. 27, 2010 –Jeff Stachelek will join Mann Packing on Nov. 1, to fill the newly created position as director of trade marketing.

In the new role, Stachelek will manage customer-specific consumer marketing activities, customized in-store marketing, specific go to market strategies and oversee new item roll outs.

Stachelek joins Mann with more than 20 years of food industry experience including the Hershey Company where he had numerous positions of increasing responsibility including the director of category management as well as director of business development / customer planning. Stachelek also spent time at E&J Gallo as the director of sales and marketing solutions.

John Haydock senior vice president of sales, said, Mann Packing is committed to building a world class sales organization and a key step in that process was the decision to create a position to lead the company’s trade marketing initiatives.

“The director of trade marketing position will be responsible to lead the development and implementation of an on-going category management initiative, evaluation and improvement of trade promotion efficiency and effectiveness and the development and tracking of key account strategic business plans,” Haydock said.

Stachelek holds an undergraduate degree in financial management from Clemson and a master’s of business administration from Columbia State University. He will be located in the Salinas office.
