Muscadine Time, LLC Unleashes 'JUVN8'

Faison, NC – Muscadine Grapes, the state fruit of North Carolina and a well-kept southern secret, break onto the national scene in a new smoothie, “JUVN8”. Created and produced by Muscadine Time, LLC, a division of Cottle Strawberry Nursery in Faison, NC “JUVN8” is filling a gap in the extremely popular smoothie industry by providing an all-natural, delicious tasting , healthy drink that consumers have been craving.

“We saw an opportunity to offer the public a smoothie based on the muscadine grape which is extremely high in antioxidants. “According to the ORAC value chart, muscadine grapes have a value of 6,800 which is double blueberries” said Ron Cottle, president of Cottle Strawberry Nursery. “We know that today’s consumers are making healthier diet and eating decisions and this smoothie will help fill that desire.”

To meet the demand created in early testing, bottling facilities were built right on the farm where the grapes are grown. “Our bottling line allows us to currently produce up to 15,000 bottles a day with room to increase production as the demand for the product grows.” Said Mr. Cottle.
