NPC To Offer Scholarship For Graduate Student Advancing The Potato Industry

Washington, DC — The National Potato Council (NPC) will award one $10,000 academic scholarship to honor a graduate student (Master’s degree or higher) working to improve the future of the U.S. potato industry. The deadline for the scholarship is June 15, 2016 and it will be awarded in August 2016 towards the 2016-2017 academic year.

Final scholarship selection is based on the following criteria: past academic achievement, leadership ability, potato-related areas of graduate study, goals, benefit to the potato industry, extracurricular activities, grades and potential commercial value.
