Yakima, WA – On Thursday, October 10th, Sage Fruit and USA Pears will be teaming up to co-host a Twitter party. The party will start at 9pmEST/6pmPST and should last approximately 45 minutes.
“Together, we hope to excite consumers about fresh harvest pears. It might be National Apple Month, but there are so many other flavors of fall too,” said Kaci Komstadius, Social Media Director at Sage Fruit. “We will be encouraging conversation that ranges from how to pick a perfect pear in the grocery store, to how to cook with them.”
The Sage Fruit and USA Pears Twitter accounts have a combined total of more than 6,200 savvy followers, and anyone is welcome to join in the Twitter discussion by using the hashtag #PickAPear. If they are following both @SageFruit and @USAPears, participants will be eligible for one of four prize packs that will be given out throughout the night.
