Stemilt kicks off SweeTango Apple Season in Washington State

QUINCY, WA – Stemilt is kicking off the SweeTango® apple season this week with harvest in central Washington.

The Honeycrisp-Zestar cross is coming off the tree with excellent colors and size profile. Stemilt markets SweeTango® apples on the West Coast, growing the fruit both conventionally and organically.

According to Stemilt marketing director Brianna Shales, SweeTango® is a national branded apple that holds a unique position in the apple category, especially during the fall season, because of its early timing and combined volume from three primary U.S. growing regions.
