SUNIONS Marketing/PR Campaign Earns Over 20M Impressions

PARMA, ID – SUNIONS®, the world’s first tearless and sweet onion, is proud to announce that their PR and marketing campaign has reached 20 million impressions for the 2021-2022 season so far. These impressions were gained through a combination of earned PR coverage, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. It is an encouraging sign for a brand of onion that continues to experience year-over-year growth at retail.  

This season was marked by the creation of a refreshed SUNIONS® campaign that received widespread traction on social media and in traditional media. As a result of this new campaign, SUNIONS® was featured in RealSimple, Mashed, Woman’s World, and other prominent publications at the season’s midpoint. The campaign also included a season-long paid social media campaign, digital and POS support campaigns at retail, and outreach to social media influencers. More campaign components are slated for release as the season wraps up.  

A coupling of all of this helped SUNIONS® reach over 20 million impressions this season, with more reach on the way. SUNIONS® is currently in its 5th season at retail and the program continues to grow.
