FoodMaven Makes Key Addition To Executive Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.– Colorado Springs based start-up FoodMaven announced the addition of Jason Rembert to their executive team. Rembert will join the company as Chief Technology Officer, and brings deep technology and leadership experience to the technologies that power FoodMaven’s innovative online marketplace and logistics model.

Jason Rembert comes to FoodMaven from tech giant Oracle, where he was Vice President of Software Development for three years. Previously, Rembert led software development at Datalogix, which was bought by Oracle in 2014 for $1.3B. He brings many years of software development, cloud computing and big data experience and has led technology teams at several start-ups, including; Datalogix, Customer Science, Impower and Matchlogic. Rembert also made a financial investment in FoodMaven.

Rembert’s hire comes as FoodMaven moves closer to finalizing their Series B round of financing after closing an $8.6 million Series A in 2017. With an eye on expanding into a second state later this year, FoodMaven plans to continue its rapid pace of growth.
