Kroger Co. is using Central Ohio's well worn consumer testing grounds for a new grocery store concept.
The supermarket chain is opening a smaller format store called Fresh Eats MKT in Blacklick and several other sites in the region.
Kroger (NYSE:KR) CFO Mike Schlotman described the concept as “ a different kind of convenience store” during an investor conference on Tuesday.
