Publix Super Markets is ready to open its fifth store in Rutherford County.
A grand opening ceremony will take place Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 6:45 a.m. at the new store on New Salem Highway, the company said Wednesday. The store will officially open at 7 a.m.
Grand opening day will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the new store associates and local elected officials.
The new store is located at the Market at Salem Cove, 2650 New Salem Highway in southwest Murfreesboro. The regular store hours will be 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The 45,600-square-feet store will contain the traditional grocery, meat, produce, dairy and frozen food departments in addition to the following full-service departments: pharmacy, bakery, deli, and fresh seafood.
