Supply Chain Alliance Closes Out The Year By Giving

Legacy Foodservice Alliance hosted its annual Holiday Open House Week December 4 through 8, 2017. This is traditionally a time when Alliance Members get together to celebrate the past year’s accomplishments and begin planning for the next year. “We work very hard all year long” said Steve Push, Legacy Foodservice Alliance Chairman and CEO. “We look forward to this time of year to have a little fun, catch up and get ready for the challenges of the coming year.”

An offer to bring a toy was extended to Members planning to visit The Legacy Offices to help with a local Toys for Tots chapter. “We greatly exceeded our expectations,” shared Jennifer Blanchard, Legacy’s Member Event Manager. “We were able to present Toys for Tots a huge array of toys and games for kids this Holiday.”

“This year presented Legacy Members with a variety of challenges and opportunities. The unprecedented weather events that affected some Members of the Alliance will go down in history,” added Push. “It is a testament to the resilience and comradery of our Alliance that we can pull together and help one another, and folks in need. The Toys for Tots initiative was indeed a very gratifying way to close out another banner year.”
