Pembroke Pines, Fla. – Western Beef Inc. opened its newest and largest location at 830 Pines Boulevard in Pembroke Pines, Florida on Sunday, July 17. Western Beef’s 28th supermarket boasts over 50,000 square feet of products, including 14 aisles and 15 checkout counters.
“We’re excited about bringing our brand of quality to the Pembroke Pines area,” says Patrick DeIorio, Western Beef, CEO. “We worked hard to bring a store of this size to such a vast area. We’re looking forward to serving this community and feeding it for generations to come.”
With more than 160 employees, the Pembroke Pines location has taken pride in hiring within the community and providing jobs as well as great service and products. “It’s something we always set out to do,” says Peter Castellana, Western Beef President. “We want to become part of the neighborhoods we serve not only providing products and services, but have the neighborhood’s residents grow and build careers with us.”
Radio partners Hot 105 and Mega 94.9 were on hand during Western Beef’s Grand Opening festivities to give out t-shirts, hats, gift cards and other prizes to all customers. Included in Western Beef’s opening weekend celebration were heavy discounts on great items including milk, poultry, soda, produce and Goya products.
“We’re coming out of the gate with great prices throughout the store and as weeks turn into months and then years, our customers we’ll realize we will have the best quality and prices in South Florida,” says Castellana. “Our first store in South Florida located in Boca Raton has maintained that reputation, we’ll continue to do the same in Pembroke Pines.”
