H-E-B's Central Market division has more plans for new stores in Dallas. With the opening Wednesday at Midway Road and Northwest Highway of its third Central Market in the city limits, other projects in the pipeline will start to move ahead, the company said.

Oak Cliff and Uptown Central Markets continue to be in the works, but without firm timelines.

And don't give up on H-E-B supermarkets arriving in Dallas-Fort Worth. The San Antonio-based retailer's H-E-B banner stores will at some point enter the Dallas market, just not anytime soon, said Stephen Butt, president of the Dallas-based Central Market.
