WinCo Foods opens its Garland store at 1122 W. Centerville Road on Thursday at 9 a.m. and announced locations for its planned stores in Arlington and Fort Worth.
The Garland store is the Idaho-based grocer’s sixth local store. Each store employs about 150 people.
In Arlington, WinCo has leased an 85,000-square-foot building in the Bardin Place shopping center, located on the southwest corner of Interstate 20 and South Cooper Street. Other stores in the center include Ross Dress for Less, Hobby Lobby, and Dollar Tree. Construction will begin this fall.
