Stella, MO – There are still plenty of cows and pigs, and tractors and combines. But, there is a new face of farming right here in Newton County. It is at the Circle  Sea Farm.

It's almost Thanksgiving.  But, inside the poultry house, the gobbling of turkeys has been replaced with the gurgling and gushing of salt water.

" I have raised poultry all my life and I guess I was ready for a change," stated Rick Clymer, owner of Circle Sea.

And so, the harvest looks a lot different this year.

"We are raising Pacific White Shrimp. They are native to Ecuador," Clymer said. "This is nearly as time consuming but it is not nearly as physical or hard on our bodies," he laughed.
