BROOKLYN, NY – Acme Smoked Fish Corporation is pleased to introduce its new Smoke Roasted Salmon Protein Bowl in two varieties, New England Lemon Dill and Moroccan Harissa. Acme is a family-owned and operated producer of smoked seafood specialties found in preferred stores, restaurants and delicatessens throughout the United States. Last year, the company introduced ready-to-eat Poke Bowls featuring Smoked Salmon and Smoked Ahi Tuna. Their new innovative Protein Bowl is the next step in the company’s expansion into healthy ready-to-eat meals featuring smoked fish. The bowls will soon be found in the refrigerated aisles of stores around the country under Acme’s brand Blue Hill Bay.
Each Protein Bowl is single serve and features 2.5 oz. of smoke roasted salmon, pre-cooked white rice, and a featured sauce – either Lemon Dill or Harissa, a Moroccan-inspired chili spice. The smoke roasted salmon provides a rich flavor; the fish is hot smoked, creating a firm, flaky texture, and is delicious alongside rice and any accoutrements added by the diner.
The Protein Bowl offers easy convenience at home or office, as the user simply microwaves the rice and combines all ingredients. Diners can put their own personal touch on the bowls by adding sliced cucumber, carrots or a pickled veggie for a crunchy topping, or add a dollop of Greek yogurt or sour cream for a complementary dairy flavor.
Acme takes pride in responsibly sourcing all seafood, and the company has become well-known for their delicious, ethically-sourced salmon for decades. Each individual portion is high in protein, with approximately 20 grams per serving. The Protein Bowls also have 1300mg of Omega-3 fatty acids per serving and 0 grams of Trans Fat per serving. The bowls have no artificial preservatives.
Blue Hill Bay’s New Protein Bowls can currently be found at Kroger locations throughout the U.S., and will be available at additional retailers in the coming weeks.
