CURRIE – Construction continues at the future headquarters of Acme Smoked Fish of North Carolina, and so does the company's push to fill jobs.
Last year, the New York-based seafood processor announced plans to expand to the Cape Fear region. On Monday, its employee recruitment process will kick into high with the opening of a new batch of online applications.
“Those will be for the production associates,” said Jean Duncan, director of human resources.
