KIRKLAND, Wash. – Fortun Foods is excited to announce that four of its popular fresh-refrigerated Finishing Touch Sauces will be stocked in the seafood departments of Kroger, QFC and Dillons in 20 states starting in early August of this year. These sauces include Rajun Cajun, Santa Fe Verde, Four Pepper and Marsala and Mushroom. Each flavor is hand crafted with the utmost care and a fresh-made restaurant quality.
The chef-developed recipes of Fortun sauces maintain high quality standards and taste while providing time-saving solutions for customers who desire exceptional flavor and convenient preparation. The sauces are gluten-free, low-fat, trans-fat free, low-cholesterol and MSG-free, and only require heating before serving with a favorite meat, seafood or pasta. They are available in 8-oz. packages and serve a family of four.
The four flavors available include:
- Rajun Cajun Sauce – a spicy favorite made with a combination of fresh onions, fresh celery, fresh green peppers, okra and garlic. Best served over chicken, beef, pork, seafood or pasta.
- Santa Fe Verde Sauce – a savory Tex-Mex flavor combining crushed tomatillos, fresh onions, green chilies, fresh green peppers, fresh red peppers, diced jalapenos and just the right amount of kick. Best served over traditional and non-traditional favorites such as chicken, pork, seafood, eggs, nachos, potatoes or rice.
- Four Pepper Sauce – a fine dining experience in every bite, this sauce features complex flavors from peppercorns, Madeira and Burgundy wines. Best served over beef, chicken or pork.
- Marsala and Mushroom Sauce – a savory bestseller containing a blend of rich Italian tradition made with real veal stock, fresh mushrooms, sautéed onions and Marsala and Madeira wines. Best served over chicken, beef or pork.
