The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s (GAA) Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division is holding a BAP Stakeholder Meeting & Luncheon at GAA’s GOAL 2018 conference in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
The meeting and luncheon will take place at the opening of GOAL 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25. It is open to all stakeholders interested in learning more about the BAP third-party certification program. The gathering is held at GOAL every year to give stakeholders an opportunity to provide feedback on BAP and weigh in on the program’s latest developments.
Among the topics that will be addressed are new facility growth and development, program integrity, market development and marketing support, and technology. An update on GAA’s pre-competitive activities will also be provided.
Lunch will follow a series of presentations and a question-and-answer session. The GOAL 2018 plenary will begin immediately thereafter at 2 p.m.
