A local seafood company has tuned in to some new technology to stay competitive.
Icewater Seafood Inc. in Arnold’s Cove has adapted innovative cod processing technology to improve competitiveness, and maintain jobs for close on 200 full- and part-time employees, thanks to a Federal investment of 2.6 million dollars.
MP Seamus O’Regan made the announcment this weekend. The money is from ACOA’s Business Development Plan.
