GALESBURG — A Galesburg small business continues to grow with the acquisition of a business in Alaska.
Sitka Salmon Shares has bought Big Blue Fisheries, a fish processing facility in Sitka, Alaska. This will help Sitka Salmon Shares create a more integrated supply chain.
The acquisition is expected to support two new jobs in Galesburg. These jobs will focus on the expanded retail and direct-to-consumer opportunities associated with the purchase.
