Alaska Symphony of Seafood Postponed

The Alaska Fisheries Development Foundation, organizer of the Alaska Symphony of Seafood (Symphony) since 1994, announced the postponement of the Symphony event planned for November 2020 due to the ongoing health and safety issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hailed as wildly innovative, the southern-style Alaska Wild Wings were “like nothing the judges expected,” said Craig Murray, Senior Vice President Marketing & Innovation at High Liner Foods. “We knew this was a strong innovation in the seafood category, and the judges would be impressed, and it’s great to get recognized in this way.”

Alaska Symphony of Seafood Awards its Yearly Prizes

The Alaska Symphony of Seafood competition this year awarded four winners with top prizes in Seattle. Thirteen companies entered 20 products in three categories — Retail, Foodservice and Beyond the Plate. The Seattle People’s Choice rounded out the awards for the competition.
