AMSA Honors Dr. Jim Lamkey as the 2019 AMSA Meat Processing Award Winner

The American Meat Science Association (AMSA) has announced that Dr. James W. Lamkey is the recipient of the 2019 Meat Processing Award. The award is sponsored by Smithfield Foods, Inc. Dr. Lamkey will be honored on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at a special awards banquet during the AMSA 72nd Reciprocal Meat Conference in Loveland, Colo.

American Meat Science Association Names Industry Veteran, Collette Schultz Kaster, As CEO

Kaster brings more than 25 years of technical experience in areas of food safety, quality assurance, and animal welfare and executive roles managing teams across livestock industry companies and organizations. Most recently, she has served as the Executive Director of the Professional Animal Auditor Certification Organization (PAACO).
