GoodFarms Receives Communitas Award for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility

This award program seeks to honor those special companies, organizations and individuals that are changing the way they do business to benefit their employees, communities and environment.

Nominations for Show Your Colours Award IPM 2019 announced

Eleven plants have been nominated for the Show Your Colours Award IPM 2019. All of the exhibitors at IPM Essen with woody plants and perennials were able to submit plants or plant concepts for this award. Ultimately, 11 of the plants/plant concepts entered were nominated. The Show Your Colours Award IPM 2019 will be presented at 3.00 pm on Thursday 24 January in the BIZZ Holland stand, hall 8, stand number 8A40.

French Pastry School Founders Recognized for Lifetime Achievement

The USA chapter of the Académie Culinaire de France, awarded the prestigious Fauteuil de l’Académie to both chef Sebastien Canonne, M.O.F. and chef Jacquy Pfeiffer, co-founders of The French Pastry School. The “chair” award is normally given to one chef annually as a recognition of his lifetime achievement.

Cal Poly Rose Float receives 2019 Extraordinaire Award

At the 2019 Rose Parade held New Year’s Day, the group received the Extraordinaire Award — which recognizes the most extraordinary float entered in the annual contest — for their entry “Far Out Frequencies.” Tuesday’s win is the first time the program has received the Extraordinaire Award in its 71 years of participation.
