USDA Seeks National Mango Board Nominees

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) is seeking nominations for the National Mango Board to fill seats for six members whose terms expire Dec. 31, 2021. Nomination applications for the seats are due Feb. 26, 2021. Selected representatives will serve three-year terms.

USDA Announces National Mango Board Appointments

The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced the appointment of seven members to serve on the National Mango Board. The appointees will serve three-year terms, from Jan. 1, 2021, to Dec. 31, 2023, with the exception of one domestic producer appointee whose term will begin immediately and will end on Dec. 31, 2021.

Mango Moves Up on Rankings at Retail

The National Mango Board (NMB) is proud to announce excellent results at retail for the first half of 2020, in the run up to National Mango Day on July 22nd, 2020. Whole mangos moved up from #13 to the #12 position based on volume velocity and from #20 to the #17 position based on dollar velocity in the Nielsen fruit rankings for period ending June 27, 2020.
