The PMA Retail Award for excellence in merchant innovation is for a vice president or director, or equivalent position, in the global supermarket retail sector.

Produce Marketing Association Names New Chief Science Officer

Produce Marketing Association (PMA) announced Dr. Max Teplitski has accepted the role of Chief Science Officer for the association. Dr. Teplitski will lead PMA’s science, technology, supply chain and sustainability efforts when he joins the organization in January 2020.

Fresh Summit Exhibitors Donate 228,400 Lbs. of Fresh Produce to Second Harvest Food Bank

The donation of 228,400 pounds of produce to Second Harvest was made possible thanks to the generosity of fresh produce companies who exhibited at Produce Marketing Association’s (PMA) Fresh Summit Convention & Expo earlier this month in Anaheim, California, USA. Food bank volunteers collected the fresh produce directly from the show floor at the Anaheim Convention Center.
