Healthy Family Project’s annual thank you reception at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure saw more than 200 produce industry professionals celebrating the ongoing impact of Healthy Family Project’s cause marketing programs. Cause marketing retail and digital campaigns in 2022 raised $235k for Feeding America® food banks, Our Military Kids, Foundation for Fresh Produce and Ripe for Revival.

Shuman Farms Honors Those Impacted by Breast Cancer This October

For the past 13 years, Shuman Farms has distributed special, pink RealSweet® onion bags, display bins, and POS during the month of October to support breast cancer awareness. Since 2009, the philanthropic-focused organization has donated more than $110,000 to those working to find a cure. This year, Shuman Farms will honor friends and colleagues in the produce industry who have been impacted by breast cancer by making its annual donation in their names.
