Asocolflores Gives Antioquia and Bogotá “1,400 Reasons to Smile”

“1,400 reasons to smile” is part of the Petal It Forward initiative that Asocolflores is carrying out together with the Society of American Florists (SAF, in Spanish). This initiative has been giving away flowers in select streets in Canada, Colombia, the United States, and Puerto Rico throughout the month of October.

PFCI to Honor Six New Members in 2021

The Society of American Florists will honor six professionals with induction into Professional Floral Communicators – International (PFCI) during SAF’s Annual Convention in 2021. SAF has made the decision to cancel SAF Phoenix 2020, where recipients would have been inducted, in keeping with government regulations regarding travel and crowd size.

American Academy of Floriculture to Induct Four Honorees in 2021

The Society of American Florists will honor four professionals with induction into the American Academy of Floriculture (AAF) during SAF’s Annual Convention in 2021. SAF has made the decision to cancel SAF Phoenix 2020, where recipients would have been inducted, in keeping with government regulations regarding travel and crowd size. Since there will not be an Annual Convention in 2020, newly selected members of the Academy will be inducted at the Stars of the Industry Awards Dinner during SAF’s Annual Convention in 2021 alongside all 2021 inductees.
