The developer of a cheese processing facility proposed east of Great Falls is appealing several conditions that were placed on its permit when it was approved by Cascade County in August.
The Cascade County Zoning Board of Adjustment approved Big Sky Cheese, LLC’s request for a special use permit Aug. 28.
But the approval came with 17 conditions including several that reflected concerns from some board members about the project, including water use and water monitoring.
