COLUMBUS, Wis. – Wisconsin Badger fans will celebrate January’s Rose Bowl game in true Cheddar-head style this year, as Sassy Cow Creamery offers a limited-run of red and white cheese curds in honor of the University of Wisconsin’s championship football team.
Beginning Dec. 30, a limited-run of bright red and white “Rose Bowl Cheese Curds” will be available at Metcalfe’s Markets at 726 N. Midvale Blvd in Madison, 6700 West State Street, Wauwatosa, and at Sassy Cow Creamery’s retail store, located just 15 minutes north of Madison at W4192 Bristol Road, Columbus, Wis.
Pre-orders for large quantities may be placed by calling Sassy Cow Creamery at 608-445-2010 or by asking at the cheese counters at Metcalfe’s Markets. Football fans flying to the game in Pasadena should ask Sassy Cow Creamery to shrink-wrap their Rose Bowl Cheese Curds and then place them in checked luggage for best results.
