Rising Sun Farms Takes Two Awards At 2012 ACS Competition

Phoenix, OR – Rising Sun Farms won two awards at the recent 2012 American Cheese Society (ACS) Judging and Competition.  Mild Curry Cheese Torta brought home the first place award in the Cheese Spreads with Flavor category, followed by Mediterranean with a second place award in the same category.

This year's ACS competition proved to the be largest in history, featuring 1,711 products from 254 companies.  Standing out from the crowd, the awards presented to Rising Sun Farms now bring a total of 70 product awards for excellence to the Rising Sun Farms lineup.  Curry Cheese Torta boasts an impressive 8 product awards, while Mediterranean now makes its debut as an award winner.
