WAYNESBORO, Pa. — The longtime owner of Appalachian Nurseries Inc. in Franklin County, Pa., said this week that he has sold the property to a new owner.
Tom McCloud, president and owner of the wholesale nursery business, reached an agreement with a farmer to sell the nursery property on Clay Hill Road between Greencastle and Waynesboro, according to a news release.
New ownership will take place on Dec. 8, and Appalachian Nurseries will remain open through the end of May 2016 to sell off current inventory, the release said.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
