North American Meat Association Awards Reiser Its 2014 Supplier Of The Year Award

Rancho Mirage – North American Meat Association gave its 2014 Supplier of the Year Award to Reiser. The award was accepted on behalf of the company by President Roger Reiser at a ceremony held during the association's Annual Meeting on Friday, March 21, 2014.

Roger took over the family business in January of 1967. Robert Reiser & Co. subsequently grew into one of the most respected suppliers of processing and packaging equipment in the food industry. Today known as the Reiser Group, it also includes several prominent manufacturing companies, including Vemag, Holac, Ross Industries, and AMFEC, as well as sales and service companies in numerous countries around the world. Overall the Reiser Group employs more than 1,000 people and serves customers in more than 100 countries.

“As a proponent of technological progress for the betterment of the industry, Roger has been a thought leader. He is also a strong supporter of this association. His dedication to excellence is unparalleled,” said NAMA Co-President Tony Gahn, Jr., of Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Gahn Meat Company, Inc., during the awards presentation held at the association's Meat Industry Management Conference. The Awardee of the Supplier of the Year award is recommended by NAMA’s General Members that interact with suppliers throughout the year.
