Spring Hill Produce located in Tifton, GA has contracted Fresh Quest, Inc. to exclusively market all of its Cantaloupe production.
Lewis Taylor began farming operations in Tifton, Georgia in the 1930's as a transplant producer for the Southeastern United States. Today, Bill Brim and Ed Walker, owners of Lewis Taylor Farms, is one of the largest privately owned vegetable and greenhouse operations in the Southeast.
The cantaloupe harvest will begin the first week in June and run all the way through mid-July. “We are excited to have Fresh Quest market our cantaloupes,” said Ed Walker, Owner of Spring Hill Produce. “Fresh Quest’s melon marketing experience during the winter will elevate our program to new heights.”
