How To Market To Hispanic Shoppers, & Why You Should

Expect to see more grocery stores geared toward Hispanic shoppers, especially in suburbs like Katy over the next few years, says one retail expert.

Rafael Melara, a broker with Houston-based Hunington Properties Inc., recently closed a deal in Pasadena where Hispanic specialty store Bravo Ranch took over a 42,000-square-foot building, which once housed a Kroger. It will open in September.

It’s the second Bravo Ranch to open in the area in the last two years, and Melara said to expect more openings of similar stores throughout Houston and its suburbs.
