Mississippi Oyster Season To Begin Nov. 6

Oyster season in the western portion of the Mississippi Sound will begin Monday, Nov. 6, at legal sunrise, officials with the state Department of Marine Resources announced Monday.

NOAA Announces  Limited Opening Of Commercial Red Snapper Fishery In South Atlantic 

Red snapper recreational and commercial seasons will open in South Atlantic federal waters for limited harvest in 2017 through emergency action.
