£56m Deal Sees Finsbury Foods Become One Of UK's Largest Bakery Groups

Finsbury Foods has become one of the largest UK bakery groups after acquiring the Fletchers Group for £56m.

The acquisition will provide a platform for Finsbury, which is based in Cardiff and runs Memory Lane Cakes, to address the UK foodservice bakery market, which is worth approximately £900m per annum, 70% of which is morning goods.

Both Finsbury Food and Fletchers supply products to the growing morning goods sector.
