Just as the Meijer retail chain hits the Milwaukee area, Angelic Bakehouse of Milwaukee said the Grand Rapids, Mich.-based chain is expanding its offerings to include Angelic’s sprouted seven-grain bread products.
Angelic said its Flatzza Buddy, premium wraps and dinner rolls are now available in 161 Meijer stores. In addition, 133 stores carry Angelic’s sprouted grain Flatzza, and 27 stores carry its hamburger buns, hot dog buns, seven-grain bread, seven-grain reduced sodium bread and wheat bread.
Angelic Bakehouse’s expansion into Meijer stores follows the retailer’s recent introduction of personal sprouted grain pizzas by Champion Foods and Hungry Girl, which launched in Meijer stores on April 1.
