North Dakota State Mill To Launch Retail Flour Sales

The North Dakota mill and elevator will launch a couple of new retail product lines this fall. Mill manager Vance Taylor says you should start to see five-pound bags of white whole wheat flour and five-pound bags of organic flour appear on grocery store shelves by late September.

Although the retail side only account for three-percent of the mill’s total sales, Taylor says it has been a good little niche market. The Grand Forks based mill earned a record 13-point-two million dollar profit for the fiscal year ending June 30th.
