TRACY CITY, TN — Dutch Maid Bakery and Café in Tracy City was rewarded the first prize in the Southeast Retail Bakers Association's (SRBA) 2013 Convention on April 13.
The bakery received first place in the "bread and rolls" category. They were judged on presentation, texture, taste and overall.
Dutch Maid Bakery submitted salt rise bread, jalapeno bread, and whole wheat for judging.
The bakery's salt rise bread has received other accolades, including Southern Living's 204 Food Finds Across the Region.
