Vanilla Bean Unique Cookies To Be Carried At Earth Fare

Vanilla Bean Unique Cookies’ is pleased to announce that their All-Natural Wheat-Free cookies will be sold at Earth Fare. The Asheville-based Earth Fare opened Wednesday, May 7th at 704 E. Dupont Rd., Fort Wayne. Debbie Smith, Co-founder/Creative Chef said, “We are excited that our All Natural Gluten Free Chunky Chocolate w/Salted Pecans, Lemon Ricotta and Molasses Oatmeal cookies will be sold as grab-and-go options in the bakery section of the store.”

“Earth Fare’s commitment to support local is amazing,” said Sandra Wharton, Co-founder/Marketing Chef, adding that, “getting behind buying local is not just rhetoric.” Earth Fare stores have a commitment to providing local options in each of their 31 stores. Each store features products that come from within 100 miles of that specific location, as well as Family Producers, which are vendors local to one of Earth Fare’s locations. Vanilla Bean Unique Cookies is proud to be one of the local producers Fort Wayne locals will recognize when shopping at Earth Fare.

Vanilla Bean, LLC was founded in 2007 by Debbie Smith and Sandra Wharton and began doing business as Vanilla Bean Unique Cookies February 18, 2013. Vanilla Bean Unique Cookies’ specializes in creating exceptional flavor combinations that transform the traditional into something special. All six (6) of the cookies submitted October 2012 for judging were endorsed by the Specialty Food Association as being among the best in the specialty food industry. Vanilla Bean Unique Cookies’ was invited and became members of the Specialty Food Association November 2012. The companies Margarita and Clementine Sandwich cookies were included in the 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards Gift Bags; and the Margarita Sandwich cookie was featured on a 2013 segment of Fox LA. Debbie and Sandra competed on Food Network Cupcake Wars in 2013 and have been featured on several local and regional televisions programs.
