Delmarva’s three food banks have stepped up to the plate to raise a combined equivalent of more than 58,000 meals and exceed their challenge goal in response to the 2012 Perdue Strike Out Hunger Challenge on Delmarva, a season-long campaign in conjunction with the Delmarva Shorebirds to help combat hunger.

Cargill Recalls Ground Beef Due To Possible Salmonella Contamination

Cargill Meat Solutions, a Wyalusing, Pa., establishment, is recalling 29,339 pounds of fresh ground beef products that may be contaminated with Salmonella Enteritidis, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced.

Beef Flavor Research: Consumer Changes From 2005 To 2012
