ADPI Welcomes Veronique Lagrange As Director Of Strategic Development

Elmhurst, IL – The American Dairy Products Institute is pleased to announce that  Veronique Lagrange has joined ADPI on a full-time basis as Director, Strategic Development with effect November 1, 2018. 

Most recently, Veronique served as a strategic development consultant to ADPI from March of 2018.

Prior to joining ADPI, she spent 22 years in various roles with the US Dairy Export Council (USDEC) with her last role and responsibility as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Insights.

"We are happy to have Veronique join ADPI on a full- time basis focused on strategic development activities among other key initiatives, said Blake Anderson, ADPI President & CEO. "Her wealth of industry experience, domestic and global networks, and analytical abilities in translating science and market trends into actionable strategic initiatives makes her an ideal fit with ADPI and our strategic plan and focus into the future.

One of her top priorities initially will be to lead an ADPI member-based Task Force in conjunction with its new Dairy Protein Messaging Initiative (DPMI) in addressing the growing competition of plant alternative proteins against dairy proteins and ingredients, and to develop the tactical elements of a successful messaging campaign working with Padilla|Food Minds.

"I'm excited to begin my new role at ADPI," said Lagrange. "The Institute has a unique culture of member engagement and a motivated team. I'm looking forward to further enabling ADPI achieve its vision of being the world's "go-to" authority on dairy ingredients."

Lagrange will also lead the ADPI Center of Excellence (COE) Task Force to proactively and effectively address complex business development opportunities, or address threats, on behalf of members and the industry. 

 Lagrange is the author of many publications, technical manuals and reference guides on the topic of dairy ingredients, from milk powders to specialized protein products, their applications in human nutrition products, their functionality and manufacture. 

She has a BS and MS in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin, a nutrition degree from Ecole de Medecine Paris VI, France, and completed the course requirements for the doctorate in Engineering Management at George Washington University, Washington, DC. She also completed classes for the Executive Program at MIT, Cambridge.

Veronique will be based out of the Washington D.C. area and will report directly to Blake Anderson, ADPI President & CEO.
