American Dairy Products Institute Accepting Nominations For 2013 Award Of Merit

Elmhurst, IL – The American Dairy Products Institute is now accepting nominations for its 2013 Award of Merit. This award, established in 1991, recognizes individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the processed dairy products industry and without whom the industry would not be where it is today.

Anyone wishing to make a recommendation for this year's award should consider their nominee's role in promoting the use of processed dairy products. Any significant contribution to the industry in the area of product development, marketing or promotion, manufacturing, technological advances, equipment, packaging, transportation, storage or trade, or any other innovation, as well as participation in related industry organizations, may be taken into account when nominating an individual for the Award of Merit.

ADPI is proud to recognize industry leaders who have made a difference in the processed dairy products industry and advanced its collective interests. The recipient of the Award of Merit will be honored at the 2013 ADPI/ABI Annual Conference luncheon on Monday, April 29th at the Chicago Marriott Downtown.

Letters of nomination should be sent to The American Dairy Products Institute, 126 N. Addison Avenue, Elmhurst, IL 60126 and include the name of the person making the recommendation, the name and company of the candidate and a brief description of their career contributions to the dairy industry. Nominations must be received by Monday, February 11, 2013.
